4keepers traces its roots to 2009, when Piotr Skiba, a Polish goalkeeper then playing in England, started the business, according to a 2018 report on the Stadion Śląski website. The idea was born in Britain, and the company first represented an established English glove brand.
About five years later, Skiba decided to create his own glove brand. 4keepers has since added goalkeeper accessories and apparel, and in 2018 it became a partner of Stadion Śląski's youth soccer program. Its team page now lists dozens of goalkeepers in Poland and abroad who wear its gloves, under the slogan #YouCanFly.
