Aviata Sports started in 2010, when two goalkeepers decided to combine their love of the position with their business experience. Their goal was to make professional-quality goalkeeper gloves at prices that more keepers around the world could afford.
About 11 years later, the brand said it had released more than 100 glove models, from beginner gloves to models worn in the professional ranks. Aviata says its gloves have been worn by Pinto at FC Barcelona and by Josh Saunders, who won back-to-back MLS titles with the LA Galaxy. It adds that keepers in the Champions League, the World Cup, the English Premier League and the Olympics have also worn its gloves.
Aviata has since built out an endorsement program for professional goalkeepers, coaches and academies. Its current lines include the Stretta, Viper, Halcyon and O2 series, plus a youth series.
