Calma has made goalkeeper gloves since 2011, and its name is the Spanish word for composure. The brand is built on the idea that goalkeeping depends on a calm mind as much as on physical skill.
Calma made its Premier League debut on Jan. 16, 2021, and it says its gloves have also been worn in the Bundesliga and UEFA competitions. It has since returned to England's top flight on the hands of Kjell Scherpen and has worked with Netherlands goalkeeper Mark Flekken on its Profi glove.
