GATO is a Finnish glove brand founded by three former professional goalkeepers, Aleksi, Tuomas and Niki. Like many keepers, they spent years choosing between overpriced gloves loaded with features that add cost and cheap gloves that sacrifice fit and grip.
GATO was created to solve that problem by developing gloves together with working goalkeepers and selling a top-level product at a fair price. The founders describe their goal as building a leading goalkeeper glove brand that is owned by goalkeepers and always on the goalkeeper's side.
