GR1P is an independent Australian glove company built by a goalkeeper for goalkeepers. The idea came after its founder spent more than 20 years in goal and wanted to close the gap between professional-quality gloves and the budget of a weekend keeper.
The brand believes serious equipment should not cost more than A$150, that gear should be tested by people who play and that Australian keepers deserve an Australian-owned option. Its gloves use 4 mm German Contact latex.
