Hexagon GK History

Independent goalkeeper glove brand · United States

Hexagon GK is the current glove brand of Mike Slatton, who also created KEEPER BALM® (keeperbalm.com). Slatton earlier founded Huracan and Victoire, the brands of GK Glove Company, which he later passed to George Harvey.

The brand's design idea comes from nature. Hexagons appear in honeycomb and in basalt columns because the shape spreads stress evenly, and Hexagon GK applies that idea to protection. Its backhand is split into segments that flex and absorb impact independently instead of relying on one solid pad.

The palm is contact latex in a negative cut, with the seams tucked inside for a closer feel on the ball. The original Black edition adds a Hexagon knuckle guard and a Fiber-Tech backhand texture. The brand says the glove was built on KEEPER BALM® science, starting with the latex.
