Athletic Road was founded in early 2023 by twin brothers. One spent about 20 years as a goalkeeper and now works as a goalkeeper coach licensed by the FIGC, Italy's soccer federation, while the other spent decades working for a major Italian fashion house. The brand promotes Italian design and says each pair is handmade with professional German latex.
